One of the rarest place to dine in Jitra which is located at rural area, just alongside the small roads. The foods are of village's favourites such as cekodok (banana fritters), peknga (coconut pancake), bubur (different kind every day), Maggi hostel style, burgers (Malaysian-style), toasted Roti Benggali and so much more at the corner side. I have been a regular since about two years and I will always choose this as a favourite as I love village foods as stated above so so much. The service is good, food tastes are consistently delicious (I adore this so much), freshly made upon order and served hot. I just love it. This place usually opens at 7.30am to noon, then re-opens at 5 in the evening until 11pm. They may change their working hours if necessary or something comes up.

A cosy traditional style breakfast place in Jitra. All the food is quite good - highlights are the roti benggali, peknga & the gulai ikan. Just a lot of flies.

Went here for breakfast. A sweet, nostalgic café filled with charming corners and vintage items that remind you of things you used to see at your grandma’s house. The food was good and matched the cozy atmosphere. I just wish the café was a bit bigger.

Where else you can eat on an antique sewing machine with pedal??? Menu write in school notebook, decoration are stuffs from 70's 80's that worth to be keep in museum. Food not disappointing though, peknga is highly recommended serve with fresh ikan temenung if I'm not mistaken. And don't forget to try ayaq terbalik.
